GRAPE INVADERS: MAKING CONTACT WITH A PINK WINE FROM ...

Tramonte soul brother K.I. dropped off a sample of the new McNab Ridge Rosé of Syrah Mendocino County 2011 (Grade=Outstanding) is a delicious, vibrant dry pink wine, showing off tart cherry, wild strawberry and watermelon notes, a hint of mineral and some undertones of fresh rosemary and thyme.  Around here we have all become big fans of dry rosé, and for a limited time, this wine is a great little addition to the category.
